I like how energetic it gets from its initial calm and it's composition for the most part, but I feel it could benifit from some more spacial or dramatic type parts that could make those riser drops feel more impactful. Idk how to explain it tbh but I feel it's just too constant. There's not a whole lot of build ups to any parts of the track, like there's not a lot of space to breathe in. Along with that, I feel improving your mixing and mastering is another good step but that simply takes time. Otherwise, it's a neat lil track dud, keep on doin the thang

Well this one came out real pretty. It has a kind of eerie vibe as well and I really dig that too, makes it feel spacious and free. I really liked the synth work here, good job dud

Thanks kindly for the feedback. Loved your take!

Idk how you did it but lemme just say how great those drums sound, they the snappiest I've heard in a while.

That note progression tho, its holy! Y'all did great on this, especially with the drums and the structure of the song. The whole thing flows really nicely and thoroughly, it's a real trip. Y'all need to send me some of that cauldron water in the mail, it must be magical or somethin

ThatAndyGuy responds:

I drank it all already 😔

Yoooo, a fellow Maschine user!!
There's a lot to like about this track, but mostly, I like how simple you kept the drums so as to let everything else cover the track like butter on bread. It's a great deep house track and its something real nice to vibe to honestly. }

As for the mixing and mastering, uhh... Shoot, I just think there was some work to be done with EQ but otherwise, this track is wonderful.

Feynmar responds:

Thanks for the feedback! Going to try out Sonarworks or DSoniq on my headphones soon and see if it improves my EQing and mixing. (Of course more practice will also go a long way.) Maschine is pretty great in my opinion, though I wish it had better DAW integration. Especially with Reason it's a bit shitty, because there's no multitimbral VST support, so the only option is to export stems. But I still feel way more productive with Maschine than without it.

This one real pleasant, its a head bobber. Especially like the pops, they're a really nice percussive accent to the silk that wraps this whole song up like fire to a phoenix. Makes me realize how good of an idea it was to get studio monitors.

Samuel-Mossa responds:

agreed, studio monitors have helped me so much.

This is super somber, I didn't think anybody could do that to the Tetris theme. Its a real nice change of pace though, it's calming.

Those drums got no reason sounding as clean as they do, holy cow.

That kick though, it's spicy like habaneros with that guitar. I love this track, it got me in the mood to do a fighting game idle pose. Y'all did a cool

Jeez, how you make something so raw yet soft at the same time? This track real nice and atmospheric and I don't understand how you did it honestly, it hits really well. Great stuff peepoo

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

I'm not totally sure. I 'spose however I'm feeling comes out in particular sound choices. Lots of subtle-ish use of distortion for that kinda stuffy feeling. This was made months after some bad life things. I was pretty checked out. All I can really remember is stress with the mix.

I'm Maggie, sometimes Magkron (but mostly just Magg), and I make stuff babitos
